Taylor County man, 53, arrested, charged with rape Michael Sweeney was indicted by the Taylor County Grand Jury following ongoing investigation by Tpr Josh Dicken By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - (Fri 23 Oct 2015) 53-year-old Michael Sweeney, of Campbellsville, KY, was arrested on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 on Central Avenue in Campbellsville and charged with Rape 1st Degree, 17 counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and 3 counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor. Sweeney was indicted by the Taylor County Grand Jury in reference to the ongoing investigation by Tpr Josh Dicken. Sweeney was lodged in the Taylor County Jail, Campbellsville, KY. An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by police is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
