2015 Chair's Challenge final total: $261,667!!! Total is up approximately $100,000 over 2014 amount. Total donors this year 836. Click on headline for story with photoof Chairman Parnell making presentation of facsimile check By Duane Bonifer, Public Relations Director Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY Lindsey Wilson College Board of Trustees Chair Allan Parnell of Louisville, KY, presented a facsimile check of $261,667 to LWC Vice President of Advancement Kevin A. Thompson, with LWC Director of Alumni Relations Randy Burns looking on Thursday, 22 Oct 2015, at LWC Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. Parnell pledged that if the college got 500 donors to give Oct. 20-21 to LWC scholarships, he would add $50,000. The campaign was so successful that Parnell increased the pledge to $70,000 for 700 donors. The two-day campaign attracted 836 gifts totaling $191,667, which resulted in a $261,667 total donation to LWC scholarships. That campaign included a $25,000 21st Century Young Alumni Challenge by 2001 LWC alumnus Chris Estes of Lexington and a $15,000 challenge to support the Lindsey Wilson Singers by 2005 alumnus Chris Innes of Los Angeles.
