Crusade for Children Pancake Fry will be Sat 14 Nov 2015 By Josh Brockman, PIO, Columbia & Adair County Fire Departments County Chief Terry Flatt / City Chief Mike Glasgow Columbia Fire Department, 200 Merchant Street, Columbia, KY, has set the date for our annual WHAS Crusade for Children Pancake fry. We would like to invite everyone out 6am-12pmNoonCT, Saturday, November 14, 2015, to join us for an ALL YOU CAN EAT pancake and sausage breakfast. The grill will be fired up at 6amCT, for all the early risers but we will be serving up until noon for those who might want to sleep in a little. Cost will be 5.00. This is one of our departments biggest fundraisers for the Crusade for children. To date Adair County's Fire Departments have raised over 1 million dollars for the cause. The money raised has been returned to Adair County in the form of grants to our schools and benefit our children. These funds have been used to purchase special needs busses and IPads for classrooms just to name a few examples. We invite everyone to come on out and join us for a great meal, a great cause, and great fellowship with Adair Countians . This story was posted on 2015-10-20 00:36:01
