Mike Watson: Jason Mardis aerial like original 1802 town plat Mike Watson writes: Ed, the aerial photography by Jason Mardis is exceptional. All of the photos have been great, but the one on CM today of the Columbia Public Square from above the Historic Courthouse is my favorite. It reminds me of the original town plat, drawn in 1802 by William McNeely, the county surveyor.
