Helen Jane Hurt age 68 of Edmonton, KY passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens, Edmonton, KY. Visitation will be from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, Monday, October 19, 2015, and after 9amCT, Tuesday at the funeral home.



Helen Jane Hurt, 68, Metcalfe County, KY (1944-2015)


She was born February 22, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Nadine Bragg Caffee. She died Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 68 years, seven months, and 25 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Society Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Tommy Hurt of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Stephanie Jessee and husband Gary of Knob Lick, KY

  • One brother: Lonnie Caffee and wife Dana of Edmonton, KY

  • Three sisters: Wanda Jessee and husband Roger, Ann Gibson and husband Buddy, Sue Dickson and husband Howard, all of Edmonton, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Tori, Rachel and Benjamin Hampton all of Edmonton, KY
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two nephews Jason Gibson and Derick Caffee.
