Lloyd W. Krueger, Russell Co., KY (1928-2015)

He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church. Mr. Krueger was a native of Marinette, WI, and was a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of his death. His wife, Mary Eva (Lester) Krueger, survives. He leaves 17 direct living descendants.

Lloyd W. Krueger. 87, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday October 17, 2015, at his home.

A Celebration of Life Service at the Jamestown Christian Church, 65 S Main Street, Jamestown, KY, will be at 11amCT on Saturday, October 24, 2015, with Bro. Jason Walters, Bro. Tony Stephens and Bro. Bill Welker officiating.



Lloyd W. Krueger, Russell Co., KY (1928-2015)


Lloyd was born in Marinette, Marinette County, WI on Saturday, January 14, 1928. He was a son of the late Myrtle (Huerion) and Walter C. Krueger. He died Saturday October 17, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 87 years, nine months, and three days.

Lloyd was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church.

He served and retired from the U.S. Navy

He is survived by his wife Mary Eva (Lester) Krueger, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Nancy Ford, of Dayton, MA; and Karen Heller, of Wichita, KS

  • A son: Kurt Krueger, of Wonnabow, NC

  • Two sisters: Betty Spencer, of Pascagoula, MS; and Libby Wirtz, of Huntsville, AL

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Walter and Howard Krueger.

The family request donations to the Jamestown Christian Church.
