Judges have named the winners of the Squarecrow contest

Awards have been made for the first three prize winners. There's still the anxiously awaited People's Choice awards, with voting during the festival and tabulations for that prestigious award on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the festival.

The Festival Judges have just announced their first second and third place winners, which are:

Third Place, a prize of $25, goes to the National Art Honor Society at Adair County High School for their entry, Vincent van Gogh PHOTO.



Second Place, a prize of $75, goes to #14, Adair County High School HOSA, for the nurse giving a shot in the patient's pumpkin buttock. PHOTO

and, drumroll. . .

FIRST PLACE and a prize of $100, goes to entry #24, Dollhouse Daycare, a very elaborate display with about one dozen individually parent paricipation projects. PHOTO

Downtown Days Festival goers will be able to vote for the Squarecrow People's Choice Award; that voting will take place Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Retired Teachers' Booth in front of FFNB, 224 Public Square, Columbia, KY during booth operating hours. Come look 'em over and be ready to vote for your favorite!
