Judge Richard Benton Froedge, Metcalfe Co., KY (1934-2015) He was a distinguished citizen of Metcalfe County, KY, and the patriarch of an outstanding family. He was the son of the late Hershel and Lula Harvey Froedge. His wife, Lora Belle Forrest Froedge, survives. He leaves seven direct living descendants. Judge Froedge was a retired construction worker and served as Metcalfe County Judge Executive from 1993 until 1998. He was one of the few and last to serve a five year term in the state of Kentucky. Richard was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Friday October 9, 2015, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Randolph. Visitation will be from 4pmCT until 8pmET, Thursday, October 8, 2015, and after 9amCT, Friday at the funeral home.
