We are simply overwhelmed with our Squarecrow response...they are wonderful...no two alike! And to let everyone be a part of the excitement, a 'People's Choice' category has been added. Voting will take place Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Retired Teachers' Booth in front of FFNB, 224 Public Square, Columbia, KY during booth operating hours. At first guess, anyone in furthest reaches of Adair County would say "Billy Neat," for the man who delivers the papers every Wednesday to sales points throughout the county, for this Square Crow. And they would be right. His name is "Billy," Mindy Yarberry, right of the Adair County Community Voice said yesterday, Monday, October 5, 2015, when this photo was taken. Squarecrow: High level of detail seen on second look

A second look is often needed to realize the extraordinary detail and artistic skills in the Squarecrows which will be on display at least through Halloween and Treats on the Town, Saturday, October 31, 2015. It isn't totally evident on a quick pass, but Pam Spires Squarecrow includes a screen window frame and the art was painstakingly painted on that difficult "canvas."
