2015 Edmonton/Metcalfe County Pumpkin Festival 3 Oct 2015

Full day of Activities at one of Kentucky's major fall festivals

Festivities get underway at 6amCT, this morning, Saturday, October 3, 2015, for one of Kentucky's largest festivals, centered around the Metcalfe County Historic Courthouse, 100 E Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY.



This mornings events include arts and crafts booths on the Historic Metcalfe County Courthouse grounds, pumpkin contests for biggest pumpkin, pumpkin decorating and carving, a 4-H costume contest, pumpking baking contest, tours of the Historic Metcalfe County Jail, karoake, a quilt program with Lucy Forbes in the Historic Courthouse, the award winning high school band will perform, there will be a kids's costume parade, a book sale and Ronald McDonald Magic Show at the Metcalfe County Public Library, a cake walk, and Susan & Carol will broadcast live from downtown Edmonton.

In the afternoon, there will be a Veteran's Flag Retirement Ceremony by the Monument on the Courthouse Grounds, the Willard Odle Festival Car Show will be held at the Metcalfe County Fairgrounds with a historic car parade at 3pmCT. And at 3:15pmCT, there will be special music with Metcalfe Stars performances: Hornet Nest's band, Tarayn Deckard, Doug Jones, and others. - Information courtesy Gay Shaw, Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce.
