Driver injured in one vehicle accident in Casey Co., KY

Driver falls out of vehicle, which ran over her foot, police report her saying. She was taken to Casey County Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Driver faces multiple charges alleged by law enforcement

Liberty, KY (Tue 22 Sep 2015) – Tpr. Mike Woodrum is investigating a collision that occurred at 9:19 PM EDT at the intersection of KY 1547 and Lewis Avenue in Casey County. 43-year-old Stacy Overstreet, of Liberty, was operating a 2003 Saturn on KY 1547 when she turned left onto Lewis Avenue.



Overstreet fell out of the vehicle and stated that the vehicle rolled over her foot. The vehicle then struck a tree.

She was transported to the Casey County hospital, Liberty, KY, by EMS for non life threatening injuries.

Overstreet was charged with DUI 1st, Expired Registration Plates, Expired Registration Receipt and Failure to Produce Insurance Card.

Trooper Woodrum was assisted at the scene by Casey County Fire, EMS and rescue.
