And Lauren McQuaide, elected by fellow students to take the first student seat on the Adair County School Board. It is not longer about only academics but creating a realm that provides opportunities for students to become leaders of their futures. In the meeting with the students, Mr. Reed and Mr. Young went over the basic rundown on procedures and basic information about their jobs. Mr. Young stated "The students were elected by their peers, they had to submit an application, then were voted on by the student body.
