Godfrey Jackson named Assistant AD for ACHS/ACMS

Columbia, KY (Mon 24 Aug 2015) - The Adair County Schools are proud to announce today that 1985 Adair County High School graduate and stand out athlete, Godfrey Jackson, has been hired in the position of Assistant Athletic Director for ACHS and the Adair County Middle School.

Starting immediately! Superintendent Reed signed and handed Godfrey his contract this morning. Godfrey's position is part-time but will include interaction with the schools and all sports related activities within the district and he will have extra duties such as helping Little League programs, to build stronger feeder programs that have similar expectations in line with our local school programs, among other various duties.



We feel Godfrey is not only a great leader but a wonderful role model for all our student body. Godfrey currently works at as an Engineer at RECC, a referee for the 5th Region Referee Association, as well as serving as a board member within the association.

Godfrey's other unique qualifications include experience as a police officer and corrections positions.

We fell blessed to have such a well rounded, experienced individual joining the Adair County Schools team - We can't wait to see the positive changes Godfrey will be a part of in the coming days and years!
