Travel note and comment on state of fleet, Pulaski Co., KY Commentary from Joyce M. Coomer Monday, Greg and I were in Somerset. Usually, when we go to Somerset, it's on the weekend so we don't see much of the day to day work traffic. In the course of driving from one point to another in Somerset, we saw four or five local government vehicles for the road department and the water district. The newest truck we saw was a late 1990s model. Interesting that Somerset and Pulaski County, where average household income is considerably higher than Adair County, are utilizing vehicles more than 15 years old. Joyce M.
