Harmon Munday, 84, Adair Co., KY, Metcalfe native (1930-2015)

B>He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. He was a former truck driver and farmer. He was a native of Metcalfe County, KY, and a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late James Vivian & Denia Ethel Moss Munday and the widower of Mary Frances Shirley Munday. He leaves one direct living descendant, Shelia Krahn, of Columbia, KY.

Harmon Munday, 84, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 8:29 A.M. at his home.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Willard Parson officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Thursday, August 14, 2015. Members of the Honor Guard will serve as Casket Bearers



Harmon Munday, 84, Adair Co., KY (1930-2015)

He was born Saturday, August 30, 1930, in Metcalfe County, KY. He was the son of the late James Vivian and Denia Ethel Moss Munday. He died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 12 days.

He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. He was a former truck driver and farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Shirley Munday on December 22, 1989.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelia Krahn (Russell II) of Columbia Send condolences to the family of Harmon Munday
