Kenneth Roe Robertson awarded 50 year funeral directors pin

Russell Springs, KY, funeral director and embalmer, has served families at funeral homes in Jamestown, Liberty, Moreland, and Russell Springs during his half-century in the profession.

At the June meeting of the Kentucky State Funeral Directors Association, local funeral director and embalmer, Kenneth Roe Robertson was awarded a 50 year pin for his service to the profession.



Robertson graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science on March 1, 1965, and later received his license as a funeral director and embalmer.

Robertson began his career working at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown under guidance of H.E. "Buck" Pruitt."
In February of 2002, Robertson joined the staff of Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs where he remains active today.

Robertson would like to thank his family and friends for their support, but also extends gratitude to the families he has served over the years for their trust in him as a funeral service professional.
