News from Columbia Rotary Club

Derrick Kisita is a member of the Columbia Rotary Club and makes our local club a truly international club.

Derrick gave us an update on UCSS that his brother, Ronnie, started. Following his presentation a lively discussion took place concerning the project and its future. Derrick is from Uganda, Africa and a student at Lindsey Wilson College majoring in Christian Ministries.

He is very involved in the Uganda Counseling and Support Services (UCSS) whose mission is to improve the quality of life and spread God's love to people in remote communities of Uganda by providing social services, counseling and spiritual development - one community at a time.

UCSS is using a holistic approach that addresses clean water, medical care, education, economic development, counseling and spiritual development. Please visit their website to learn more at www.ugandacss.com.
