Driver, 21, injured in single car accident on KY 551

Operator of of 2006 Scion loses control, leaves roadway, strikes earth embankment. Vehicle overturns several times. Driver treated at scene and transported to Westlake Regional Hospital for treatment.

From Adair County Sheriff's Office, Columbia, KY

On Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 8:41pmCT ACSO Deputy Brandon Hitch responded to a single vehicle injury accident.



Twenty-one-year-old Scott Tucker of Columbia, KY was traveling south on KY 551 in a 2006 Scion when he lost control of his vehicle.

Tucker struck an earth embankment then overturned numerous times.

Tucker was treated on scene by Adair County EMS and Transported to Westlake Regional Hospital for injuries sustained.

Deputy Hitch was assisted on scene by Adair County Fire Department. Officer Tracy McCarol along with Sheriff Harrison Moss also assisted on scene.
