Response to complaint of suspicious vehicle leads to arrests

Vehicle was in area of Ft. Knox Federal Credit Union on KY 210, Campbellsville, KY. One arrested wanted for parole violation, with added charges in Campbellsville, KY; second man charged with a number of alleged drug related offeses. CPD alleges items found in car had been stolen from residence on Southern Drive. Investigation leads to arrest of 16 year old, charged with burglarys

News from Campbellsville Police Department

On Friday, July 31, 2015 the Campbellsville Police Department responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Fort Knox Federal Credit Union on Kentucky 210 at around 5:35pmET. Officers made contact with the vehicle and after a short investigation, they arrested the two occupants



32 year old Kevin Martin of Louisville was wanted out of Louisville for a Parole Violation. Martin was also charged with Possession of a Synthetic Drug (spice), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree 1st offense, Heroin.

Also arrested was 43 year old Douglas D. Thompson of Campbellsville, KY. Thompson was charged with; Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 2nd offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified), and Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree (drug unspecified).

Several items were located in Martin's possession, that were later found to be stolen from a residence on Southern Drive. After an investigation, a 16 year old juvenile was charged with the burglary and Martin was also charged with, Receiving Stolen Property U/$500.

Agencies Involved: Campbellsville Police Department. Investigating Officers: Officer Scotty Perian, Officer Jacob Hedgespeth, and Officer Jonathon Leigh.

Note: Persons charged or arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
