Adair Co. Retired Teachers meet 15 Sep 2015 Next meeting, Sep 15, 2015, welcomes new retirees with free lunch at Anderson's Pizzeria. Big agenda faces group. By Ellen Zornes, President, Adair County Retired Teachers The Adair County Retired Teachers Association will have its first meeting of the new year on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 10amCT, at Anderson’s Pizzeria, 1411 Campbellsville Road. Our meetings are for all Adair County retired teachers and those who reside in Adair County regardless of the county or counties where you were employed. We have several items on the agenda for this initial meeting so please plan to attend. At this meeting we meet and welcome our new retirees and honor them with a free lunch. Also please bring a school item for our Family Resource Centers to be able to give to students who need them…and we all know from experience how much these items are needed. We will continue our scholarship fundraiser during Downtown Days, October 9-10, 2015, by having our raffle items. Two very popular of these items are our Fall and Christmas Baskets. To make the baskets equal in items, if your last name begins with A-M, please bring a Christmas item; if it ends in N-Z, a Fall item. Or drop the items with Renae Smith at the Board of Education by the end of September. We welcome all retired teachers to our meetings and look forward to great fellowship together! - Ellen Zornes, President, Adair County Retired Teachers Association This story was posted on 2015-07-31 15:04:26
