Paul A. Foley, 83, Russell Co., KY (1932-2015)

He was a honest hard working man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Paul professed his faith in Christ later in life. He was a retired farmer, devoted family man, loyal Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds fan and a respected member of the community. He was a Veteran of US. Army and will be accorded full military honores at interment. He was the son of the late Eastman Foley, Jr. and the late Clarice Foley, and the widower of Thelma Withers Foley, his wife of 58 years. He leaves two direct living descendants.

Paul A. Foley, 83, of the Webbs Cross Roads community, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. Funeral service for Paul A. Foley will be 2pmCT, Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Hugh Withers and Bro. Randy Brown officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Monday, August 3, 2015 at the funeral home. Due to a family members allergic reaction to after shave lotion and perfume, the family requests that visitors refrain from using them. Burial will be in the New Friendship Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY, with full military honors.



Active pallbearers: Jared Eastman Foley, Anthony Roy, Mike Robertson, Mitchell Robertson, Walter Robertson, Terry Robertson, Cass Eastman Foley, and Eli Daniel Foley.

Honorary pallbearers: Kenneth Robertson, Charles Robertson, Harlan Robertson, Paul E. Robertson, Bro. Jim Robertson, Andrew Antle, Luther Chapman, Danny McQueary, and Preston Robertson.

He was born Friday, April 21, 1932 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Eastman Foley, Jr. and the late Clarice Foley. He died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 83 years, three months, and seven days.

He was a retired farmer, devoted family man, loyal Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds fan and a respected member of the community. He was a Veteran of US. Army.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Thelma Withers Foley; his parents, Eastman Foley, Jr. and Clarice Foley and 2 brothers, Godfrey Foley, Lloyd Eastman Foley.

Survivors include
  • Two daughters: Debbie Carol Foley and Paula Denise Foley, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Sister: Arnelda (Cecil) Thornton, Milford, Ohio

  • Sister-in-law: Bonnie Foley-Robertson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Brother-in-law: Bro. Hugh (Jeanette) Withers, Shepherdsville, KY

  • Lots of very special neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
Paul professed his faith in Christ later in life. He was a honest hard working man who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
