Green County Grand Jury returns indictments MON 8 June 2015

Indictments brought against 7 individuals, from Adair, Green, Jefferson, and Taylor Counties, of Kentucky. Charges include, among others, criminal possession of a forged instrument, drug, firearm charges; identify theft, unlawful transaction with a minor under 16 yoa, persistent felony offender, trafficking within 1,000 feet of a school.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Monday, 8 June 2015:


  • Carla Brockman (D/O/B: 09/04/1972), Coakley St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-29. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Richard Handy (D/O/B: 01/05/1951), Shelbyville Rd., Louisville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-28. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Cultivate in marijuana, 5 plants or more, 1st offense while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Trafficking in marijuana >5lbs, 1st offense while in possession of a firearm. Count 3 - Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine). Count 4 - Acquire property from income from trafficing in controlled substance. Count 5 - Drug paraphernalia-buy/possess. Bond set at $20,000/10%, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Frances Bell (D/O/B: 08/21/1953), E. Columbia Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-30. Charged with 2 counts. Counts 1-2 - Theft of identity of another without consent. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Cody Reynolds (D/O/B: 02/06/1996), Corbins Bend, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-34. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Unlawful transaction with a minor, 2nd degree. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Anita K. Campbell (D/O/B: 03/15/1967), Scottsville St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-33. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Unlawful transaction with a minor, 1st degree-III, controlled substance under 16 YOA. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Jason E. Rapier (D/O/B: 11/26/1977), Old Springs Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-31. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in marijuana, 8oz to <5lbs, 2nd or greater offense. Count 2 - Unlawful transaction with a minor, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $20,000/10%, no contact with victim, no drugs or alcohol, MCR@PTS 2x week.

  • Charles R. Ellison (D/O/B: 11/20/1986), McCullum Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 15-CR-32. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Unlawful transaction with a minor, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Trafficking in controlled substance within 1,000 feet of school. Count 3 - Trafficking in marijuana, less than 8oz, 1st offense. Bond set at $15,000/10%.
