The Adair County Schools are proud to announce the result are in from their first Skills USA Nationals appearance.

The three man Fabrication Team, which consists of Josh Grant (son of Andy Grant and Denise Grant), Dusty Claiborne (son of Kevin and Shamarie Claiborne) , and Chad Scholl (son of Brand and Lachana Scholl) could not have made the district more proud with their national 7th place finish.

It is a true accomplishment considering they have only been in their facility since Christmas and the competitors were from across the nation.

The young men are hoping to find themselves back at Nationals again next year, and we all have high hopes for them doing even better, their next time out.

Way to go boys, and a big shout out to their wonderful instructor, Barney Taylor. Our welding program is sure to become one of Adair County Schools shining stars. - Shamarie Claiborne
