Green County injury collision leads to arrest

KSP alleges 18 year old was driving under the influence and assault 2nd, following accident when vehicle left road, struck tree and fence and overturned. 24 year old passenger not belted, ejected from car, and is being treated for injuries in Louisville, KY

GREENSBURG, KY (Sun 5 Jul 2015) – Tpr. Charles Hedgespeth is investigating a collision that occurred today, Sunday, 5 Jul 2015, at 3:14amCT, 11 miles south of Greensburg, KY, on KY 745.



18-year-old Elizabeth R. Wilson, of Center KY, was operating a northbound 2008 Ford Focus on KY 745 when she lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree and fence causing the vehicle to overturn. Wilson was arrested for DUI under 21 and Assault 2nd Degree.

A passenger, 24-year-old Benjamin L. Scott, of Hardyville, KY was not belted and was ejected from the car. He is being treated for injuries at University Hospital in Louisville.
