Uncertain are the rules that loosely bind
diverse constituencies under law
when many only selfish meaning find
in words whose framers thought without a flaw.

What does not do one’s neighbor good may seem
a benefit worth seizing for right now
but consequences may arise extreme
from faults the thoughtless will not disavow.

Small gestures grow the web of kith and kin
and love declares there should be but one web
supporting all as daily all begin
more seeking joy in flow and calm in ebb.

United questing justice worthy rise,
divided flaunting envy forfeit prize.
