Lindsey Wilson Men's Golf inks local prospect Blake Maupin

Maupin played four seasons of varsity golf at Adair County High School

By Charles Balcom

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team has added local prospect Blake Maupin to the roster for the upcoming 2015-16 season, head coach Eric Wyrick announced on Thursday, July 2, 2015.

Maupin joins the Blue Raiders after playing four varsity seasons for Adair County High School in Columbia, KY.

He becomes the second former Adair County golfer to sign with Lindsey Wilson this summer, joining fellow high school and now collegiate teammate Tanner Garmon who also recently committed to the Blue Raiders.

"I am very pleased that Blake has decided to continue his playing career after high school with our program," Wyrick said. "Blake is a very personable young man who has good drive and passion for the game of golf. He has demonstrated a lot of discipline through his academics and is an outstanding student.

"Blake has also shown a lot of desire and cultivation with a strong work ethic on his golf game. I am looking forward to working with Blake for the next four years and know he will have a good career at Lindsey Wilson." News from Lindsey Wilson College
