She was the matriarch of a large, respected Adair County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late Willie Evanus & Edith Stapleton Curtsinger. She leaves nine direct living descendants. She was a homemaker and attended the Sewellton Church of God.

Geneva Keith, age 64 years of the Sparksville Community of Adair County, KY passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2:30amCT, at the Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center in Columbia, KY.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster and Bro. Bobby Withers officiating. Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. The family requests visiting after 4pmCT, on Monday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


Pallbearers: Anthony Blankenhip, Jeff Dickson, Davey Keith, Jamie Keith, Joey Keith, and Derek Padgett.

She was born January 2, 1951 in Columbia, Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late: Willie Evanus and Edith Stapleton Curtsinger. She died Sunday, June 28, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 64 years, five months, and 26 days.

Mrs. Keith is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Davey Keith and wife Shirley of Columbia, KY; and Joey Keith and fiancee' Desiree Gordon of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Davis Curtsinger of Jamestown, KY

  • One sister: Sue Stapp of Jamestown, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Jamie Keith and wife Heather; Jessica Keith, and Tristen Keith

  • Four great grandchildren: Natalie Keith, Sebastian Hancock, Aubrey Keith and Zoey Keith
Geneva was a homemaker and attended the Sewellton Church of God of Prophecy.
