Mr. Georing Marshall "Myrtle" Judd, 80, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Georing Marshall "Myrtle" Judd will be conducted at 11amCT, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery, N Main Street, Greensburg, KY. Dr. Gary Ervin will be officiating. Visitation was requested from 3pm. until 8pmCT, Tuesday, June 24, 2015,m at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.


Pallbearers: Joshua Miller, Billy Miller, Mitchell Mattingly, Timmy Meadows, Christian Roger, Larry Skaggs, and Jonathan King,

Honorary pallbearersl: Friends of Ennis' Restaurant and Amedysis Home Health,


Mr. Georing Marshall (Myrtle) Judd, Green Co., KY (1934-2015)


He was the son of the late Otis Marshall Judd and Nettie V. Price Judd. He was born on November 28, 1934 in Green County, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY. He was 80 years, six months, and 24 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was manager and operator of A. Ennis' Restaurant in Greensburg, KY

.He was preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Elizabeth Wright Judd on January 4, 2004 having united in marriage on January 7, 1956. Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Brenda Judd of Greensburg, KY

  • A son and daughter-in-law: Larry and Carol Judd of Greensburg, KY

  • Two granddaughters: April Miller and her husband Billy; and Amanda Viers all of Greensburg, KY

  • Five great-grandchildren: Joshua Miller, Deandrea Miller, Justin Thompson, Jagger Thompson, Kaine Murphy

  • Two great-great-grandchildren: Jordyn Booth, and Jason Miller

  • Two step-grandchildren: Suzanne King of Greensburg, KY; and Kevin King of Grayson County, KY

  • A sister: Ann Meadows of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Judd was also preceded in death by two sisters: Irene Judd and Norene Judd; and two brothers: Amos A. "Puddle" Judd, and Othel Nelson "Double Dry" Judd.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the funeral expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
