Traffic Advisory: NB Exit 65 at Munfordville on I-65 closed today

By Chris Jessie, Public Information Officer
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 4, Elizabethtown, KY

Northbound Exit 65 at Munfordville on I65 in Hart County will be closed to traffic beginning at 7pm Wednesday night. This closure is necessary for paving crews to bring the ramp and new lanes up to the same grade. The ramp should reopen by 6am Friday morning. Motorists wishing to navigate to Munfordville should do so from Exit 58 (Horse Cave) via KY 218 East to US 31W north. This schedule is slightly amended from the previous notification.

All southbound ramps and the northbound "on" ramp will remain open. Only the northbound exit ramp will be closed during this time.

Various lane closures will also continue along Mile Points 58 - 65 in both directions this week as crews switch northbound traffic to new driving lanes. These lane closures will take place at night. Motorists should pay close attention to signage while in the work zone.
