Elder Kenneth Hammond, 91, Russell Co., KY (1924-2015) He was a Veteran of US Army and a member of Pleasant Point United Baptist Church. He pastored many churches in Russell, Pulaski, and Casey Counties and participated in many revivals. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was a member of a distinguished family, the son of the late Jonas Grady & Laura Hopper Hammond. He was the widower of Anna Mae Hammond. He leaves 32 direct living descendants. Paul Roy, and Bro. David Hammond officiaitng. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Thursday, June 25, 2015. Masonic Rites will be at 5:30pmCT, Thursday. Burial in the Salem Cemetery, Russell County, KY. He pastored many churches in Russell, Pulaski, and Casey Counties and participated in many revivals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Hammond, three sisters: Louise Blair, Frances Holt, and Pauline Gosser. Survivors include the following:
