Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story

Work on the Intersection of Campbellsville Street and Fairground Street - KY 55 & KY 206 is on schedule, but is still expected to require the entire six weeks project by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, according to Amber Hale, Public Affairs Officer for the Kentucky Transportation Department, District 8, Somerset, KY.

The projected date for reopening is July 8, 2015, six days into the Adair County Fair Period.

The July 8, 2015 finish is dependent on conditions. "Of course this is all weather depending, if we have many days of bad weather we could be looking at a longer closure." Hale wrote in response to a CM query.
