Otha Andy Simpson, 63, of Russell Springs, KY died Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital ER, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Otha Andy Simpson will be 1pmCT, Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Gene Sneed officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Monday, June 22, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ridgecrest Cemetery.

He was born Tuesday, November 20, 1951 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Charles Marion & Martha Jane Yeadon Simpson. He died Friday, June 19, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 63 years, six months, and 30 days.

He was a member of Faith Temple Church and a Veteran of US Army.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Marion Simpson, and Charles Sterling Simpson, and a sister, Bessie Elender Simpson.

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Wanda Marie Simpson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Daughter: Jan Marie Taylor, Columbia, KY

  • Sister: Wanda Wright, Russell Springs, KY

  • Brother: William E. Simpson, Jamestown, KY

  • Mother-in-law: Mary Skaggs, Jamestown, KY
