Poetry by Robert Stone: The Needed Loot. A haiku villanelle

The needed loot a haiku villanelle for the birthday of Chambers Stevens
by Robert Stone
Porter at the door
waits to welcome and to boot
confident and more.

Those who want to soar
set about to sink their root
porter at the door.

Those who take the floor
learn to open cases moot
confident and more.

Those who find their core
eagerly project a hoot
porter at the door.

Those who learn the lore
gather up the needed loot
confident and more.

Those who know the score
salute porter at the door
confident and more.
~ Robert Stone, 10 June 2015
