First sighting of the Bear was in Glensfork/Glens Fork/Glenville/Hardscratch

Laura Hart and her husband were the first to sight the bear on Sunday as it crossed KY Hwy 55 South Road, just south of its T with KY 900. This photo was taken Sunday, 7 Jun 2015, at 2pmCT.

This photo shows the 'Hardscratch Bear,' climbing the bank after crossing in front of Laura Hart and her husband at 2pmCT, Sunday, June 7, 2015. This was the first sighting of the bear, and this is the second of three great cellphone photos the Harts took that day.
