Michael (Mike) Scott Boston, Metcalfe Co., KY (1967-2015)

He was a farmer, hunter, fisherman and outdoors man. He was a native of Ohio, and a resident of Summer Shade, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Cecil Wayne and Carol Sue Surratt Boston, who survive. He leaves two direct living descendants.

Michael (Mike) Scott Boston, age 48, of Summer Shade, KY, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Leitchfield, KY

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 1pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Brother James Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Union # 2 Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2015, from 1pm-8pmCT, and on Saturday after 8amCT until time of services.



Born April 7, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of Cecil Wayne and Carol Sue Surratt Boston, who survive. He died Tuesday, June 2, 2015, in Leitchfield, Grayson County, KY, at the age of 48 years, one month, and 26 days.

He was a farmer, hunter, fisherman and outdoors man.

Besides his parents, he is also survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Bethany Marie Boston (Tom Orlando fiance), Summer Shade, KY

  • One sister: Michele (Tim) Smith, Edmonton, KY

  • And one grandson: Grayson Thomas Orlando
Memorials may be made to the Union # 2 Cemetery or the charity of your choice.
