LWC Baseball ranked No. 10 in NAIA Postseason Top 25 Poll

The No. 10 ranking is the highest in program history

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson baseball team concludes the 2015 season as the No. 10-ranked team according to the NAIA Baseball Coaches' Postseason Top 25 Poll released on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.

The No. 10 ranking is the highest in program history, surpassing the No. 11 ranking the Blue Raiders received twice during the 2012 season.

The Blue Raiders received 331 points from the panel of national raters.

Lindsey Wilson made history in 2015 by qualifying for the program's first-ever NAIA Baseball World Series appearance after sweeping through the Opening Round Kingsport Bracket.

The Blue Raiders last appeared in the top 25 back on March 17 when they were ranked No. 22.

National champion Lewis-Clark State (ID) sits atop the poll with 467 total points and all 17 first-place votes. National runner-up St. Thomas (FL) is second with 451 points and Faulkner (AL) is third with 438 points. From Charles Balcom, Lindsey Wilson College
