Letter: Writer cites a pattern in gas pricing Lois Cunningham writes: Ed, haven't we all in Adair County noticed that our gas goes up an average 20 cents every Friday and comes back down on Monday. Only one gas station, under different ownership, doesn't do that. We are trapped in a monopoly. I wish that everyone would fill up on Thursday or Tuesday and avoid buying local gas on other days. That is, if you want to support "local." If not, buy gas somewhere else.
