Angelia (Angie) Christena Lester, age 50, of Willow Shade, died at her residence Friday, May 15, 2015.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 1pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Brother Gary Richardson officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at 10amCT, at the funeral home and will continue until time of services. Cremation was chosen.


Angelia (Angie) Christena Lester, Willow Shade, KY (1964-2015)


She was born June 22, 1964, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, the daughter of Harold (Brownie) and Lois Friend Lester, who survive. She died Friday, May 15, 2015, in Willow Shade, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 50 years, 10 months, and 23 days.

She was a residential assistant in the behavioral health care industry.

She is survived, besides her parents, by the following:
  • One sister: Tammy and David Highfill, Schell City, MO

  • Two brothers: Chad and Monica Lester, Denver, CO:, and Kevin and Amy Lester, Walker, MO

  • Seven nieces and nephews, and many cousins
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Conner Elijah Highfill; one uncle, Dale Lester; and her grandparents Murl and Reena Belle Lester and Dorothy Gray.
