Freed-Hardeman in NAIA National Championship Opening Round, at 2:30pmCT, Tue 12 May 2015, at Hunter Wright Stadium, 801 Granby Road, Kingsport, TN Click on headline for complete story By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The second-seeded Lindsey Wilson baseball faces third-seeded Freed-Hardeman (TN) on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, as part of the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round Kingsport Bracket Tournament. Held at Hunter Wright Stadium, 801 Granby Road, Kingsport, TN 37660, the matchup pairs up the Raiders (37-18) and the Lions (35-14) for their first head-to-head meeting since April 2009. Lindsey Wilson (37-18) recently earned the Mid-South Conference Tournament title to secure a spot in the national postseason. Tennessee Wesleyan is both the top-seeded team as well as the host school for this opening round site. The Bulldogs (43-10) earned their bid in the national postseason by winning the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. Freed-Hardeman received an at-large bid to the national postseason. LSU Alexandria enters as the fourth-seeded team. The Generals (38-14) also received an at-large berth. Judson (IL) comes in as the fifth-seeded team.
