By Linda Kessler

Keaton Kessler won the 2015 AARP/KRTA Kentucky Grandparent of the Year Essay Contest when he wrote about "My Nannie" and why she should be the KY Grandparent of the Year. This award was sponsored by the Adair County Retired Teachers Association. Keaton was the Adair County 5th grade winner. His teacher is Amanda Webster and his parents are Kevin and Arlinda Kessler.

Mr. Steve Burton, ACES principal, read Keaton’s story with Keaton standing by his side at the morning assembly on Wednesday April 22.The story was so full of credits to his Nannie that many were in tears including his Nannie.

What a blessing for Keaton’s Nannie, Geraldine Grant, to have this wonderful tribute written by her great grandson!
