Four-year old injured in single vehicle accident By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - Tpr. Clint Bale in investigating a collision that occurred Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 10:58amCT, 8 miles west of Columbia on KY 80. 38-year-old David Murphy, of Columbia, was operating an eastbound 1999 Toyota, when he lost control, crossed the roadway multiple times before overturning in the westbound ditch-line. Murphy was belted and not injured but was arrested for DUI and Failure to Produce Insurance Card. A passenger, 4-year-old Kyndal Murphy, who was in a child restraint device, was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital. Tpr. Bale was assisted at the scene by Adair County EMS and the Breeding Fire Department. Murphy was lodged in the Adair County Jail. This story was posted on 2015-05-03 04:31:27
