17 year old motorcyclist dies in car/bike head-on in Casey Co.

KSP reports that 2006 Honda crossed centerline, hitting 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle head on. Rider pronounced dead at scene. Driver transported to UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY

LIBERTY, KY – Tpr. Nick Hale is investigating a collision that occurred today at 6:24 PM EDT on KY 837, 6 miles east of Yosemite.



31-year-old Justin Denson, of Liberty, KY, was traveling north on KY 837, operating a 2006 Honda that crossed the center line and struck a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by 17-year-old Taylor Woods, of Waynesburg, KY, head on.

Denson was wearing a seatbelt and was transported from the scene to UK Med Center.

Woods was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Casey County Coroner. Tpr. Hale was assisted by Casey County Fire, EMS and Rescue.
