Mayor Hardwick: Paperwork in for him to be Mayor by Tue Mayor Hardwick issues statement on the cost of the lawsuit, as well Mayor Curtis Hardwick in attendance at the Columbia/Adair County Economic Development Authority said, in introductory remarks, he expects to be Mayor by Tuesday - April 28, 2015. After the meeting, Hardwick issued the following statement: "I want the people of Columbia AND Adair County, to know that my legal efforts have not cost the city or county any money. I did not file a lawsuit. All I've done is hire my own lawyer, H.K. Cooper and I've paid legal fees myself."CM is posting comments on the Mayoral Election now. We have invited statements from several of the principals in case.
