Johnny Lee (John) Wells, 66, Cumberland Co., KY (1949-2015) ![]() Click on headline or photo for complete obituary Mr. Johnny Lee (John) Wells, 66, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, formerly of Cumberland County, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his residence in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1pmCT/2pmET in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends from 1pmET/2pmET on Friday, April 24, 2015 until the funeral hour on Saturday. Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnny Lee (John) Wells, 66, Cumberland Co., KY (1949-2015) He was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Sunday, March 13, 1949, the son of John Wesley Wells and Lucy Jane Blythe Wells Riley. He died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 66 years, one month, and eight days. He was of Methodist faith and attended Red Banks United Methodist Church. He was a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran, a U. A. W. Local Plant Treasurer, Assembly Operator and Security Officer for General Motors and a member of the Masonic Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Arleigh Dicken Wells, his second wife, Loretta Spurlock Wells, his brother, Franklin D. Wells and his brother-in-law, Elmer Melton. He is survived by the following:
