26 Champions of Character honored at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville athletics recognized its 26 Champions of Character recipients from each athletic team on Wednesday morning, April 22, 2015, at the 10th Annual "Breakfast of Champions" in the Winters Dining Hall on the campus of Campbellsville University.

Those recognized include:
Baseball: Alex Kline; Bass Fishing: Dakota Cantrell; Cheerleading: Jessica Tinsley, winner at MSC level; Football: Erik Krivitsky; Men's Basketball: Darius Clement, winner at MSC level; Men's Bowling: Hudson Haynes; Men's Cross Country: Joey Hartlage; Men's Golf: Michael Newton, winner at MSC level; Men's Indoor Track & Field: Lucas Pennington; Men's Outdoor Track & Field: Johannesburg Boulware; Men's Soccer: Josh Hollis; Men's Swimming: Austin Tucker; Men's Tennis: Zach Baulch; Men's Wrestling: Travis McIntosh; Softball: Erin Benton; Volleyball: Aleksandra Popovic; Women's Basketball: Lindey Young, Kristen Jacob, winner at MSC level; Women's Bowling: Ashley Newman; Women's Cross Country: Mallory Vest, winner at MSC level; Women's Golf: Olivia Parrott, winner at MSC level; Women's Indoor Track & Field: Kelsey Feltner; Women's Outdoor Track & Field: JaNaiqua Horne; Women's Soccer: Alysen Shireman; Women's Swimming: Shelby Mattingly, winner at MSC level; Women's Tennis: Meg Brown; Women's Wrestling: Kayla Miracle.
The 26 student-athletes were given plaques and were recognized with church outreach director, Dr. Ted Taylor, assistant director of athletics, Jim Hardy and Athletics Director Rusty Hollingsworth.

Champions of Character is an NAIA initiative that provides training for student-athletes and professional development for coaches and staff.
