Rosaline Beck, 81, Taylor Co., KY (1933-2015)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Acton Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

Rosaline Beck of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Alfred Barnett and Bertha Bryant Barnett, was born December 11, 1933 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:13pmCT, Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Russellville, Logan County, KY at the age of 81 years, four months, and eight days.

Funeral service will be at 12pmCT/1pmET, Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Dannie Nelson. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be inCampbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY.



She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Acton Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Jack Beck, Sr., December 16, 1950. He preceded her in death November 19, 1997.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Bertha "Tiny" Dooley and husband, Darrell of Lewisburg, KY; and Jeanie Coleman and husband, Michael, of Shelbyville, KY

  • One daughter-in-law: Rhonda Beck of Columbia, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Stephen Gordon Beck of Louisville, KY; Jason Dooley and wife, Jennifer of Smith's Grove, KY; Joel Dooley and wife, Olivia of Glasgow, KY; Tracy Driehaus and husband, Paul of Pottstown, PA; Gwen Nally and husband, Jeremy of Springfield, KY; and Cara Rose Coleman of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • Ten great-grandchildren: Carson Jack Dooley, Elizabeth Rose Driehaus, Alexandra Lane Driehaus, Gavin Scott Dooley, Taylor Evelyn Dooley, Jacqueline Anne Driehaus, Madelyn Le Dooley, Ian Darrell Dooley, Kathrynn Ann Dooley and Jacob Gordon Dooley

  • Four brothers and two sisters: Roger Barnett and wife, Lequita, Jack Barnett and wife, Carolyn, Rena Newton and husband, Orville, Norma Jean Franklin and husband, Jimmy of Campbellsville, Bobby Barnet and wife, Wanda of Edmonton, KY; and Cecil Barnett and wife, Donna of Arizona

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by two sons: Jack Gordon Beck, Jr. December 26, 1982 and James "Jamie" Beck April 18, 2012 and one brother, James Robert "Pete" Barnett.

Family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
