Heather Evans: Rumble strips and lower speed, if that will help

But it boils down to drivers needing to pay attention

Heather Evans writes:
If rumble strips or slower speed limits will prevent accidents then by all means install them. But this time a resident caused the accident and not an out of towner. What this boils down to is simply pay attention to driving!!! It's not the bypass, it's the drivers looking at their gps, changing the radio, talking on their cell or lighting a cigarette. Try strictly driving and pay attention to what's in front of you. - Heather Evans
