Lindsey Wilson Softball completes sweep at Cumberlands Blue Raiders hit a combined 5 home runs during doubleheader. Winning streak now 23 games By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball team closed a four-game road sweep at Cumberlands (KY) with a pair of victories on Saturday, April 18, 2015. With two wins over the host Patriots (16-18, 5-15 Mid-South Conference) the Blue Raiders (39-6, 23-3 MSC) stretched their winning streak to 23 games. A five-run fourth and a pair of runs in the fifth accounted for the remainder of the offense during the opener as the Blue Raiders emerged victorious in five innings, 9-1. During the nightcap, Lindsey Wilson scored in every inning en route to the five-inning 14-1 victory. The Blue Raiders play next in at 3pmCT on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Georgetown (KY) at Tiger Stadium, 400 East College Street (campus), Georgetown, KY 40324.
