Guy Babin: Center of Adair Co.? - Gradyville, Paradise, USA

Comments re article 74506 Where is stake for geographical center of Adair Question posed by Guy Babin

By Guy Babin

Mr. Marshburn,

Your question is indeed one that garners contemplation as I doubt many have been likely curious enough to inquire as you.

While I must admit I have absolutely no credibility on the subject, nor the requisite expertise to formulate a probable hypothesis; I do believe that our very own COF has nailed the answer down to a glorious yet simple result.

"Sometimes--no often; the profound is quite simple,' he writes

Sometimes - no often; the profound is quite simple.

With a better handle on geometry, trigonometry, geology and sundry other "oligies", I reckon one could narrow down a scientifical solution, but...

As far as we're concerned in bosom of Cool Springs Creek and Big Creek; we Babins, Leggs and Hayes are convinced the epicenter of Adair County lays right here in Gradyville--Paradise USA.

We realize there may be some deserved contention from the Knifley contingent--but we're willin' to arm wrestle for it!
