The Gardener's Group, Liberty, KY
The Gardener's Group is a group whose goal is to promote education, fun and fellowship among gardeners of all ages, and to encourage communities to grow and eat healthier food.
The group meets each 4th Thursday, at 5pmCT/6pmET of each month except November & Decemeber, at the Casey County Extension Education Building, 1517 S. Wallace Wilkerson Boulevard, Liberty, KY, except in those cases where we go on a field trip.
Officers of the Gardener's Group are Mary Nadin, President; Bobbett Jascor, Vice President; Nell Manning, Treasurer; and Cheryl Crenshaw, secretary.
The group has an annual community potluck picnic in August.
The Gardener's Group reaches beyond the boundaries of Casey County. A recent meeting drew people from Adair, Casey, Boyle, Garrard and Adair Counties. Guests and members from any area county are welcome.
